Dana Signs and Young Life’s Washington Family Ranch worked together to design and build the signage for their newest structure, the Axehandle Lodge. This building has replaced an existing camper dorm and will now provide a new guest experience for decades to come.

The building houses over 250 guests in dorm style rooms, providing a quality camp experience for guests of all ages. The structure has been designed with a western ranch theme, emulating a barn, that complements the greater property aesthetic. This aesthetic is also reflected in the lobby area and suite room materials which includes natural earth colors, reclaimed lumber, and heavy dimensioned wood complemented by steel touches throughout.

The Axehandle Lodge signage captures this motif through the innovative use of galvanized metal and powder coat finishes. Dana Signs and the design team at Young Life worked as an integral part of the collaborative process between the designers and the contractors, resulting in a fantastic creative signage solution.

Young Life will enjoy many years of service from this new dormitory and touch many lives in the process. We thank them for allowing us to be a part of this project and pushing our creativity to new heights.
